Now there's a question......
if your talking standing water, then they are cr*p!!! it's like hitting ice... i had all four wheels spinning up the straight at Snetterton...

If there's no standing water, then they're good... I found them great at Snetterton, standing water and all.....

In the dry they are phenomonal!!!

Check out the pics here.... Snetterton 25-9-06 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Default R888

Terrible with standing water, pretty good in general wet conditions and really bad on damp/greasy roads

These are a dry weather tyre, they have no way of clearing standing water (you normally find you have a groove around the tyre for water, hence the likes of RE070's that people dont like in the wet clear standing water better than most other tyres )

I'm quite impressed with them; seem to lack outright outright grip in the dry compared with R888s, but damp / wet performance is a lot more confidence inspiring.

I'm having to run 205/40s though and I'd rather have a slightly larger contact patch tbh, but 235 is too wide and rubs, and the 225s are a 45 profile, which also rubs

Using them on a daily basis, hopeless in standing water (cue SSO !!!) but then any semi race tyre is the same, superb in the dry, also very good in damp or even wet conditions as long as standing water avoided. I have as much wet confidence with them as I ever had with my Goodyear F1's.

But you must avoiud any contact with standing water as they just skit.

cheers
