Tyre rotation
I've got Continentals fitted all round. They were all fitted at the same time and have now worn to approx 3mm on the front and 5mm on the rear.
Is it worth rotating front to rears and then replacing all round when they have worn evenly or is it recommended to just replace the fronts and leave the rears as they hardly seem to wear at all.
Advice?

Depends on whether you like two smaller bills on one big one. Safety and handling-wise you're better off to try and keep wear as even as you can i.e. stick the rears on the front. The downside of this is that you then tend to end up with all four tyres needing changing at once. If you leave them as they are, you'll only have to buy a couple of fronts soonish, but until then your obviously going to lose wet weather performance up front where it counts.
I know because I'm in virtually the same position as you. Do I just wear out the fronts now, then at least have good performance for the winter up front, or do I have them all wear out in the autumn and have to fork out £400 or £500 all in one go?

Yep that's the same dilema i've come up with
They're Uniroyals not Continentals as I first though and i'm pretty happy with them.
I reckon i'll swap front to back and vice versa tomorrow and see how it goes.
I've got the money to change them all now but I don't want to throw them in the bin when there's plenty of useable tread on them yet.
Cheers, Andy

If you've got the lolly, it might be an idea to get yourself a nice new set of 4, and once your current lot are down to 2mm or so, take them off and use them for dry trackdays.

Don't swap em, tyres wear to the angles that the suspension sits the wheel on the road. Wear on the tread is accelerated when you swap them as they try to even themselves back up.
Also the cost is reduced pr set.
