Default Recommend Light Weight 17s

Can anyone please recommend a set of light weight 17 inch wheels?

I am aware of OZ Super T's but was wondering what else is available.

Thanks

OZ Superleggera. Rota I think are supposed to be lightweight. Basically if you can get a 17" rim under 6 kg it's light.

Thanks - comprehensive that site.

I'm looking at the new OZ Ultralegga's at the moment, style looks good and light weight.

Not especially light (17kgs with tyre) but I always liked the GT1's on my old car. They are a very strong wheel and the paint finish is superb.

Advan RG's. Not sure about exact weight, but I was shocked at how much lighter they are than my old Prodrive WRC-1s.

Ooo, just checked out that site. Impressive list of wheels. Mine come in at 15.2lbs (6.9kg) for 17x7.5. Lovely.

Lightbulb DIY save money on lighter wheels TIP1

Could always hacksaw through alternate spokes

- Might come a cropper with 'odd number spoked wheels' though

all the best...

Here's what you want mate.......

Took me an age to find a set but well worth it, 17" magnesium Volk Racing TE37's. They're not even listed on that site I posted but the 18's are at 12.9 kgs!!!!! If you want a set I hope you like blue wheels as its the only colour they come in, same as all of the Volks mags wheels. Normal TE37's are pretty light too but can be had in defferent colours.

They are a bit pricey though if you can't find a set second hand. Normal forged ones are £450 a rim and the mag ones £880 a pop.
