Question INOVIT Alloys! Any good?

Hey all,

Thinkin of purchasing some black 17' INOVIT Tarmac Alloys for my Silver MY93Import...

Has anyone had dealings with this alloy wheel manufacturer...i.e is the quality of them up to snuff, any problems etc?

Cheers for any comments.

No problems so far with my Inovit's, but i'm changing pads and discs soon, so i'm expecting the rim to corrode. We'll see.

I might add, the guys don't have a clue.

Hi mate, One of my mates has Inovite alloys(not Tarmac's) fitted onto his Merc 230, been on for the best part of the year and he doesn't have any problems.

I've got them on my mine, 18" Pff7 copies. Not had any problems apart from them sending the wrong size(newage for classic) from midland wheels,

Inovit Tarmacs on my car and I know two others who have them. Well used and abused but absolutely no problem.

I got my first set from Midland(well second actually as they sent the wrong ones to me first too) However in their defence they admitted the mistake and quickly changed them (wrong stud pattern)

The ones I'm running now came from DP motorsport in Ayr. I paid £650 with Yokohama 225/40/18's tyres.

Heres a wee pic

I will be in about 2 weeks time - just waiting on final pricing and tyre combinations.

Should be excellent pricing from what I have seen of it so far

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me you can get the ST VI in white and 18s!

There were loads on ebay then when I get the dosh together, they all disappeared and all the wheel places I've rang haven't got them in white

Although, after all that, I'm wondering whether hyper black would suit a sonic blue classic

I gave them a quick call this morning to give them a nudge and see what deal they can come up with (hope I'm not treading on your toes Dynamix ). They said they will come back to me with an email listing prices with tyres.

I've also spoken to another dealer to see what they can come up with too. Will post as soon as I have a reply

Cheers

Cool! I've not had the quote back from Midland Wheels yet, but I have the quote from the other company. I have put it here in the Group Buy Section for the prices. Let me know if your are interested guys (reply in the other thread if you are)

Hi mate - i bought a set of 17" alloys last year for my mr2 - wheels were bob on - inovit spiders but theres no way in the world the centre caps would fit - emailed them and they said it was due to the cold weather - spoke on mr2 site and other people had the same problems with the centre caps.

Quick Reply: INOVIT Alloys! Any good?
