Default Quiet tyres

I'm at a stage with my MY00 where grip is less important than mileage and quiet running. There's a lot of blurb on the Goodyear site about their "Excellence" tyre being designed to be very quiet - has anyone tried them? The other advantage for me is that it is available in 205/45 17.

Am I wasting my time trying to reduce road noise in a Scoob?

Michelin Pilot Primacy are supposed to be quiet. I can tell you that Goodyear Eagle F1's are quite noisy.
