Superleggeras are now back in stock, but Id expect them all to be gone by the end of next week as there are very few left after back orders have been fullfilled.

£1k for 17" Super Ls with F1s is, Im afraid, v.exspensive

Regards, Bren

i think i was quoted just over £1200 for 18'' with 215/35/18 toyos
(i prefer the toyos to F1)

Your biggest problem may be supply.
The 17's were out of stock at the importer (MSW) and they were promised delivery by OZ a the end of Aug, Sep, Oct and finally mid Nov. I had a deposit on some with Larkspeed. Speak to Adam and see what he can do for you. They just finally received a delivery this week but nearly all the 17's were on back order from 3 mths ago. I paid £1000 with the F1s (make sure you get the spec you think you are as there are three types of F1).
Good choice of wheel too. Prob one of the lightest/strongest around.

Cool

i was lokking at leggera`s but there was a 3week delay (2weeks ago) so went for the next best thing, oz chrono evos. had them on the car 2 weeks and they look the b**loxs the only slight downside is with them being slightly dished they look a little small but as i said they look the b**loxs paid £870 delivered from wheelbase. another plus point is i`ve never seen another scooby with them on.
regards mike

Gold 18" Superleggeras are available, as are a small number of the Superleggera style Prodrive wheels.

No Mike, the only gold 17 Im aware of is the Super T but your guess is as good as mine as to when OZ are going to send us some!! OZ Italy has apparently recieved a batch from OZ Japan and just need to get round to painting them and shipping them out but how long that will take is not known.

bren,
Too late for me then. With my limited resources (the internet) I couldn't get the wheels for less than £148/corner inc VAT.
Only 1 company I called would get anywhere near that price.
Are the tyres a little on the high side?
I've reguarly seen people paying a lot more. Most peeps going for the S02/3's seem willing to pay ££££s for them my local guy gets 2's for £102+VAT & 3's for 108+VAT all in. SHould I look further afield???

Vate,

You can get the same package for £895. SO2s should be more like £100 inc, not plus.

bren,

"Im afraid, v.exspensive "

£900 vs. £1000 no drama.
Local 'larger' suppliers apart from Halfords(RIPspeed) couldn't do anything on RRP of the wheels (now that IS expensive).
Tyres, well I now know that shopping around can reap bog dividends but small fry compared to other costs.
I'm afraid I can't wait too long when something takes my fancy so a quick surf & phone around 'til I feel like I'm not being ripped is good enough. Great service from Larkspeed to, regularly calling me to keep me up to date with order/delivery. Very accomodating.
I saw your previous post, well....ADVERT. Perhaps a cheap banner proclaiming cheap , in stock wheels and tyres would be money well spent. Shouting from the rooftops about cheap prices is no good if we don't know who you are!!!
I spent time searching through ALL Scoobynet posts to find recomendations for suppliers but your name didnt crop up???

18" Super leggera's will start to trickle through around now.

I have a set on the way to me now, they are circa £1,450.00 inc. vat) a set dependant on tyre preference, anthracite will be the main colour, I may be able to get a couple more sets in gold if anybody wants them?

The gold 18"s are on a 18 X 8 Rim, the Anthracite will come on a 18 X 7 rim.

Its not an advert. When I say 'we' Im talking about ALL OZ distributers in the UK. Everyone buys from one source so are all in the same position, there are a few sets of 17" Super Ls available at the moment but they will soon be gone and once again there will be none in the UK. Thats true virtually accross the board. Same goes for the 18" alloys.

Paul was asking for an idea of what he should pay, you told him what you paid and I replied with what he should pay, end of story. I know £100 isnt a vast amount extra but when you consider you could have got the same wheels fitted with SO2s for the same money its worth knowing, dont you think?

As for an advert, Im hardly going to pay to advertise wheels that are about to once again become unavailable am I!!!

OZ supply is a nightmare, I feel for the retailers as the importers don't appear very forthcoming with the information.
My first choice supplier ( Hi Mike! ) was either lied to or deliberately misled when I enquired initially . You can see the 18" gold ones in the members gallery, I had some fitted Saturday at Donington. They had some 17" anthracite on display, blimey those are light!

performancealloys.com have just quoted £1168 for 17"s with Toyo Proxes, includes VaT + uk delivery, but if you're paying by credit card you will have to add a 2.5% surcharge.
