squeaking from rear
#1
When going slowly forward in traffic, there is a squeeking noise from the rear of the car.
I have had rear pads fitted recently. I have tried cleaning with compressed air and brush but it still does it.
Any ideas - is it related to the new pads by any chance
Cheers

Why don't you just let your other half sit in the front and see if the squeeking moves
Does the noise disappear when you apply the brakes? If so it may be that the pads are just touching the disc, particularly at the leading edge. You could try chamfering the leading edge of the pad.

I have been having the same problem. Its most annoying. The dealer recently replaced the pads and the disks, an its still doing it!
I have been of the opinion that it is a lazy caliper, and the pad is not clearing the disk after applying the brake. But what do I know, I'm just a customer, right?
