Dunlop Tyres?
#1
Looking to get a new set of tyres(205/45X17) and have been offered a set of dunlops at a very good price.
Anyone used them? if so what are your thoughts about them? are they worth getting or leaving.
Many thanks
Neil

Neil,
I use to run Dunlop SP9000 tyres and they were crap! They lasted me nearly 20,000 miles! The are hardwearing, but the grip levels were not as high as some others!
When I was still running in my old Bridgestone SO2 PP's, they offered more grip than the SP9000's at their peak!
There is a larger range of tyres in the 215/40R17 size, compared to the 205/45R17 ranges.
Popular choices for 215/40R17 are Bridgestone SO2 Pole Positions, Toyo Proxies TS-1 and Goodyear Eagle F1.
Hope this helps
