Has anyone on here bought the 17" motorsport subaru Racing brake kits, off e-bay the price is £695.00, Item No 805700140. Thinking of getting a set for my MY98 classic, But would like to know if they are any good..??

these are 15" gravel brakes from the fore mentioned company.
i use this size to enable fitting of gravel wheels/tyres when competitive marshalling.


slight rubbing occured due to a wheel bearing problem but apart from that, they are great.
have got a catalouge from them for trade.
will see what price they are.

Fitted last week....
look great, they're still bedding in, although the calipers we're very high quality, as we're the rotors and hubs.

However a small warning... these ARE competition brakes, as such, they have large clearences between the caliper and pads to accomodate high heat from competition. the nett result is the pads rattle... and i mean really rattle! however if you fit sticky back anti rattle pads to the back of the brake pads, this is almost completely eliminated. They do pressure check valves which would sort this as well. Speak to Steve their technical expert, he is very helpful.
So all in all, i think they're great! Roll on my track day at Brands GP circuit
