Smile 18" Tyre help

Hi just wondered what tyres you people with new age STI running 18" Prodrive wheels recommend.
Need a set soon, wanted Bridgestone RE070 but they dont make in 225/40 18.
Gripper the better, car is not daily driver so wear and cost not too much of an issue.
Car has uprated springs, Whiteline antiroll bar, AP 6 Pots etc.
Thanks in advance, Jase.

I'm happy with the Pirelli P-Zero's that came with car. They have stiff side walls and seem to grip well in dry and not too bad in the wet. They don't tramline to bad either, unlike the RE070's.

I've gone through two sets of fronts and one on the rear in just over a year (25K). I'm going to rotate the tyres this time, so they wear more evenly.

I was toying with the idea of changing them, but decided not to. There are too many conflicting opinions on other brands such as Toyo's to know whether they would be any better.

Scooby Jay can you tell me why you went for 235 instead of 225 section tyres.
Thanx Jase.

I am running on Goodyear Eagle F1's, very sticky in the wet and dry.

I went for the 235 instead of the 225 because of the wider track, check out this thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...ight=mike+wood as recomended by mike wood at pro drive.
