Question 18's on standard STi suspension

I have a MY03 STi and have been thinking about getting some 18" rims for it.

Only problem is due to where I live I can't lower the suspension due to ground clearence issues.

Anyone put 18's on an STi with standard suspension? How does it look?

Thanks mate but it was more to see if the car looked too high on the Standard suspension with 18's rather than clearence issues.

if you stick 40s on 18 rims the ride height should be the same as 45s on 17 inch rims !!

18s dont look any diffarent to the 17s in ride height, But do look a damn sight better.

This is my 04 WRX with 18" Prodrive WRC wheels with 225/40 tyres

Surely if the correct profile tyres are used, thereby keeping the original rolling circumference, then the ride height should not be altered...?

Just a thought.

Cheers!

Oooops, just read Scoobydooooo's post. Just to confirm then!
