Idiot tyre dealers in witham
Just been to a tyre dealer in Witham, Essex (the one opposite the fire station) to swap the front-to-rears in prep for my airfield day tomorrow.
They refused to do it saying you cannot do it with my tyres (Toyos) mentioned that I get most of my braking force from the rears and denied that Scoobies understeer.
When I politely questioned his competence he told me "I've been doing this for 35 years sonny" (I'm 36 years old)
When I told him I wanted it done regardless he refused to do it.
All this time, the garage was empty and him and his 2 fellow workers were sat around watching telly.

There's only one way to get it done properly and that is by yourself. Obviously, with the Toyos you have to keep them on the same side when you swap front to rear. Did he think you wanted them swapped diagonally?
He has'nt learned much in 35 years has he (pretty typical in my experience I'm afraid)

I have difficulty with doing it myself and was just willing to pay someone to do it for me.
I agree that he hasn't learnt anything in his 35 years..
