tyre pressure different pressure when hot and cold tyres!!!
Recently noticed when tyre is driven/hot it went up 3-4psi. is this normal?
if so what is the correct psi when tyre is cold for 225/40/18 on wrx02?

You could always try using different air.
Yes it's normal. Heat generated by friction causes the air to expand, thus slightly increasing pressure.
Always set your tyre pressures when the car hasn't been driven.
