Me car failed its m.o.t today due to tester being unable to check rear bearings for play as the tyres were catching the struts ,The worst part about it is the tyres were only fitted about 3to 4 mths ago at a cost of £378 , So i have to go out now and get some more tyres with narrower treads , the tyres are toyo T 1R 225x50x16, the rear two tyres slightly marked inside due to strut rub, front two absolutly perfect . ive been advised to get 205x50x16 does this sound right ? i just cant believe the tyre place never told me they would catch how ****ty is that and im gona go for t1s tyres this time even though the t1r is a good tyre they have to order them but they have t1s in stock and the m.o.t. tester goes away on friday so have to settle for the t1s tyre ,
anyone for a set of mint condition T1R 225X50X16 TYRES ha ha ha (if i didnt laugh ide cry )m.o.t tax , ,insu, and bloody tyres ,and double check if your planning on getting 225 tyres as they catch ,on mine they did .
