Yup, 215/40/17 is the more popular size. Afaik it's only the Pirelli users who opt for 205/45. Loads of guys run Toyo, Goodyear, Avons, Yoko, etc in the 215/40.

i have emailed toyo and they have told me they do make them in 205-45-17, so wat do u reckon, stick with the original size or still chnage to the 215-40. i rang my local supplier of toyo's that i got from their website, and they quoted me 108.99 all in, balanced/valves etc for the t1-r in 205-45-17 and 87.99 all in for the 215-40-17.
so wat would u lot do??

Stick with the same sizes all round or your diffs will hate you
Remember to rotate your tyres front and back, every now and again, for even wear.
