I've just fitted Pagid 4.2.1 Blacks to my 03 WRX. Seem good so far but possibly too early to tell. They were recommended by Alyn at www.ASPerformance.com and cost about £140

Green stuff aren't recommended for Scoobs as far as I know. The EBC Red Stuff Ceramic are supposed to be good. See the group buy section - just bought a set at £70 + VAT & Carriage.

Cheers,

Ian.

Think above part number is wrong - unless you have aftermarket brakes?

4 pot part number is DP31200C. £70 from CamSport on group buy

I've had Greenstuff pads, after being poorly advised by a "specialist" motorsport outfit.

If you enjoy anything approaching fast road driving, with the Greenstuffs fitted to the front of the car you should also equip youself with a spare pair of boxers, some spare pants and a good upholstery cleaner for your s#it stained seats. In other words, they're not good when used in anger, turning to butter after a couple of tricky corners.

In normal, day-to-day use they'll be fine, but they sullied my enjoyment of the car and dented my confidence until they were replaced.

Having tried OE pads, Pagid RS 4.2.1's, Greenstuffs and now Mintex 1155's, I'd recommend going for either the Pagid (good, but relatively expensive) or Mintex (equally good, but relatively inexpensive) pads. Ferodo DS2500's are also pretty good, from what I've heard. The only benefit the Greenstuffs offer is that they leave very little dust on your rims

My 00MY turbo is currently fitted with Mintex 1155 pads and Tarox G88 disks up front, Textar (the OEM branch of Mintex/Pagid) pads and std disks on the rear, Goodridge braided hoses all 'round and DOT3 AP Racing 551 fluid. Best set-up I've had so far, and I doubt you could do much better without replacing the standard callipers.

Better, expert advice can be had if you do a search, though.

He's got Brembo's mate - but yep, that part no is correct for 4 pots on a classic.

As already mentioned: EBC greens are not suitable for scoobs.

IMO the EBC Red Ceramics wear out far too fast.
