I've just replaced the front tyres after less than 18 months use and 10k of normal (no track) driving and the inner wall of each tyre had split approx. 1/3 of the way round. I had the geometry checked when they were first put on and again after the replacements, which showed that everything was within normal tolerances. There are no modifications to the suspension, tyre pressures were checked regularly and there was plenty of tread depth and no unusual wear patterns.

The tyres were Toyo Proxes T1S's, 215 x 35 ZR on 18" OZ Superleggeras.

Just out of interest has anyone else experienced similar failures?
