might struggle on a uk classic if its got the rear arch protectors and stuff (sum do and sum dont)
ive got 215/45/17`s on my import classic and they fit fine

same with my sti 1 ............got new age wrx wheels (55 et offset) .......215/45/17 bridgestone re50( new.)......sets car higher 
.......but although its <5mm between inside of arch and outside of tyre i dont think its goinna scrape...............-could well be a problem with less offset and different make tyre
