Default Chunk out of sidewall

Managed to catch a nasty kerb last night. Was only crawling along out of car parking space...didn't see kerb as I was on full lock. Managed to scuff the alloy but also took a chunk out of the sidewall. Its not gone down overnight but I suppose I better get it changed as I assume it too dangerous now at high speed, or cornering hard etc...? Only had tyre on for 1000 miles too...GUTTED.

Hi Silvafox,

Don't risk your life for a £100. It's just not worth it.

Cheers Red.

You're absolutely right mate. Already sorting something out. Cars gonna be garaged until I get a new tyres or even better..... a new set of wheels! Been looking for a reason to get new alloys and now I need to replace the damaged tyre and my half worn rears.....it'd be rude not to!
