Unhappy On changing to my spare after a bad kerbing incident, i saw this....is it damaged?...

Wheel Off: http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/.../wheel_001.jpg

Close-up (with space-saver on): http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/.../wheel_002.jpg

Real Close (best pic to see what I'm talking about): http://img33.photobucket.com/albums/.../wheel_006.jpg

I'm really worried I've done something more serious than runied an alloy.

So, I killed a tyre - I guess that mean I need to replace both fronts? (Only done 4000m ) Been quoted £110each fitted for Eagle F1 GDS3's which I thought was OK - I beleive these and the Toyo's are the tyres of choice on here at the moment?

Also, rust on a 4 month old MY04 WRX??????

No, it's a locking collar for the hub nut. It's supposed to look like that.
But it's important to get the car checked, alignment etc, as you don't know what damage may be hiding.

Gaz.
