Cool

I had the Godspeed front and rear discs and pads fitted by Ian and Richard at Godspeed in Wales on Saturday. They worked hard to get the job done and Ian was most informative and helpful explaining everything about the kit. His enthusiasm knows no bounds and he certainly knows what he's talking about. Anyway, I am extremely pleased with the result, as apart from feeling sturdier (still wearing in) they are the "doggy's danglies" to look at!

I have emailed the pictures to "Bob" in the hope that he will load them on to this posting as he kindly offered, bearing in mind my dearth of IT skills. They are before and after shots but the former were a bit out of focus....Duh. Definitly worth a look.

I've had mine for a few weeks now and hopefully I'll see just how good they are this Sunday at Trax.
I've got to agree with you on their looks. It's one of the first things people notice when looking at my car behind those P1 wheels!

Well thank you gents, I am well pleased . Go for it Bob, Ian Godney has done at least 2 P1s . Nozzer, I'll still be at the back on an Exmoor run! Ron, 'tis me - 5 door and a few more bits & pieces now and yes, your purchase swung it for me. Still driving like a muppet though!

Jerome, did you have to move your wheel weights! I couldn't turn my wheels because they were hitting the caliper!!

Thumbs up

Hi Steve,

No I didn't have to move the wights as they were on the inner side of the wheel. Ian did mention that they had to be moved on a P1 he did in Wales. It's fairly tight in there. Unfortunately, I needed spacers on the front to accomodate the calipers under the Superleggerras but again, Ian made up some very solid ones to fit.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on at Trax on Sunday and hope to see your post regarding their performance.

Regards

Jerome

I've got the 17" Speedlines as part of the handlign package (thank god because you can't stop for corners!) so they should fit under there....

The 335mm disc kit including either greenstuff or Mintex M1144 pads is £550 , You need to have the Subaru four pot calipers for these discs , If you dont I can supply you with brand new ones for £350 a pair , The rear discs and pads are £150 , Hope this helps , Ian ,

Just for a laugh I thought I'd ring up my local dealer for a price for REAR discs and pads:

£64.52 for the pads
and
£89.57 for the discs

plus VAT....

Not toooo bad really but then the killer -
that's the price for each - not a pair!!!!!

ohh and add another hours labour charges + VAT onto that.

Ian - I'll be placing an order very soon.
