Firestone SZ40 Tyres
#1
I've had these tyres on the car from when I bought it and they seem great to me. Has anyone else tried them on their scoob (205/50/16)????
Thing is, I've never driven a scoob with anything else on, so it might be the car. I have heard it said that the scoob's quite good at grip, especially in the wet.
I've recently only driven a 2 litre mondeo (205/55/15 - SO2's front, michelin pilots rear) and a lowered (springs only) Suzuki Baleno with SO2's on the front and Colway's on the rear until that spin on the newly wet summer roundabout, when I swapped the tyres on to the other axles.
With this to compare to the grip is great, but I have no base to compare...
I didn't ask for them, and there were 4 new ones on when I bought, they're z rated, and have a v shaped pattern, so that was good enough for me, but I am now wondering, as I haven't seen a mention of them since I've been on Scoobynet&IWOC.

I also have a set of SZ40s' on my MY99. They seem ok so far, only just bought the car. Seem to give a fairly hard ride but very precise . Not sure what they are like in heavy rain.
