Superleggera is a type of coachwork - it's an Italian phrase meaning "super lightweight" and describes a steel tube frame with light alloy panels over.
Many cars up to 70's had it - not just Italian, but Astons up to the DB6 for example. You'll see the badge on the side of a lot of coachbuilt cars.
And OZ are italian of course.....
