Anybody out there tried these tyres(205/50/16VR) Tyre dealer assures me that they are a good performance tyre,says they sell loads.(National tyres) Quoted £65 each fitted and balanced. Me thinks they are a bit cheap??

Cant comment on the exact tyre or tyre car match but as there is no other info.

Known of an Audi A3 1.8T driver who put AVON's on and after a week got them changed as he felt they where so bad they where dangerous.

I am Mark from Tyres Northampton na dthe millenium tyres from Avon are basically an economy tyre.Yes they are made by Avon but does it have Avon on the sidewall of the tyre?The answer is no,so read into that what you like.
The best advice I can give you is to either fit Toyo T1S or Bridgestone SO2PP they are the best tyres for your type of car.
Don't fit second rate tyres to your Scooby you may regret it.
