Ok, I'm having nightmares trying to decide between the following finishes on a set of 17" BK121 alloys for a Dark Blue Mica MY1999 4 door.
Opinions gentlemen, please?

Wouldn't the chrome finish be easier to clean?
I really am in a quandry as to which would look better.
Guess I need an accomodating Wheel/Tyre place to let me check out one of each on the car.

Hmmm...That's what I thought. But the stark contrast of the silver/alloy also looks good with DBM.
I suppose either will look rather than

The chrome does look darker, but I still think the silver will look far, far better on a DBM.
My opinion only..

The following site can be used to search for "Subaru" or "Impreza" and reveals exmaples sporting more extreme sizes of the same wheels.
Theres a pic of a DBM with the Black Chrome finish.

Maxy, I see what you mean. I think that effect is actually due to lense protectors with carbon fibre style trim - As to where you get them from, I have no idea.

Squizz.

The chrome ones look better by a mile, but then again thats my taste.
However the BK121 chrome has been withdrawn by BK as the last batch were faulty. The wheel is not chrome plated (obviously) but chrome painted with a lacquer covering. On the current batch the lacqure peels off and then the paint rubs off!! This is only a problem on the current batch and I have found owners of older wheels that have no problems. To check this out go to

Aha.......i have found them in a Demon Tweeks catalogue.
£29.99 a pair
I think i may get a set as they make the front end look different and very smart ( it doesnt look like they protrude away from the car at all, in fact seem to be quite flush which is a good thing )....i took the pic off that website but have no place to host it so cant put it up for all of you to see.
If you do want to see what they look like then mail me and i will send it to you.
Thanks Ian

Maxy - yet another satisfied customer! I've got headlamp protectors, which are clear, and they are quite flush as can be seen on that pic.
wrx.co.uk - I got your mail! Thanx for trying to post the pic. You need to post the image on a server somewhere. If I can find the time and space, I'll post it here later today. Were they 17" or 18" on that pic? If you still wanna know how to post pics, email me again.

Here's that pic from wrx.co.uk he was trying to post. (I've made it a bit smaller).
Very nice. Would look good with blue - I may yet change the colour and repost!
wrx - click on the "Reply w/Quote" icon (far right icon on top of each post) and you'll see the tags required around the URL where you've put your picture.
