I am sure that AP do not have product liaibility insurance for the Subaru 6-pot kit - the box has a piece of paper in it saying not for sale in the US!

Anyway, if you are after some, general advice is that the grooved discs are less prone to cracking than the drilled discs - especially if you are out on track!

They are awesome brakes and mine are barely run in yet!

Good source of info - my point is that the kit that is available here may not be available, in this form over there.

It says so in the box - not to be sold directly or indirectly to the USA!

I am sure that there will be a similar kit there but you'd need to contact a US distributor.

Cheerio!

Damon, as Rannoch has said, the kit may be a different spec for US sale so you really ought to speak first to the US distributors, perhaps a telephone call tommorow would be an idea rather than waiting on an email?

thanks sunlip,

ive done some research though and the brakes that come standard on the imprezas you guys get bolt right up to our cars here. the biggest difference is the drivetrain (most important part.) but thats a straight swap too. i think only thing we have to change is the crossmember. i know the brakes would be a straight fit. imma give the distributors here a couple more days and then ill give them a call.

thanks guys

I believe the sole US distributors for AP prducts are a company called 'Stillen Auto'.
Don't have any other info, sorry.

Stef.

Stef, please learn to read you muppet, first you confuse 18psi with 1.6bar, then an STiIV with an STiV and now you have posted information which is on APs website and clearly shows 3 distributors in the US, none of which appears to be Stilen Auto....btw, i posted the link to it on an earlier post above
