ABS diagnostics connector on MY96 UK turbo.
I'm chasing an intermittant fault with my car's ABS system - the best way is to read the fault memory... I don't know how to do this on a MY96 car!
I know where the connector is, and that it has 2 poles - called K and L. (Is this similar to the ECU diagnostic port?)
I can find no info anywhere about how to extract anything useful out of the connector. The K and L wires connect to pins 31 and 30 respectively of the ABS control module.
Is it simply a case of shorting one or other of these connectors to GND to get a flashing diagnostic lamp, or do I have to write a little tool for my laptop to extract the data?
All help appreciated!
