ive been quoted £1031 for 4 off super ts with good year tyres 205\17\40
not keen on good year tyres
is about right ?
also what are toyo tyres like 215\17\40
will this rub the arches being a wider tyre?
the tyre patterns sexey on the toyo but are they good?

I think you should be looking at:
205/45 R17 - size recommended by Prodrive, although there is a limited choice of tyres.
215/40 R17 - closest rolling circumference & wider choice of tyres tyres.
I maybe wrong, so feel free to correct me.
Cheers
Andy

Thats is really cheap. Where is this quote from?
Tyre size wrong however, Andy T is correct.
If they are goodyear F1 do not worry about them. My friend has them on a 328i and swears buy them. These are the flagship tyres of a company who until recently used to be employed year in year out in formula 1. Iwouldn't be concerned in anyway.
Hope this helps.

Matt,
It is odd that you write this because the reason these wheels are normally so expensive in england is because they are not imported directly from italy. They actually go from italy to the states and then back here. It is this carriage which raises the price for us. Having looked into it before buying them, it appears that many cheap ones in this country are grey imports, not a problem really due to nature of our cars. OZ also produces these wheels now in japan from a factory that goes under a different name also proving cheaper than official imports.
If you want the wheels in the states, email oz in italy and they will tell you of the distributors on your side of the water.
