Well I like them. Should suit the car being that colour (graphite?). But its totally down to your own taste.

I reckon black wheels tend to appear small. However that style should look good because the spokes go right to the edle of the rim. Best to get 18"s just to be sure .

Wink

You could do the Jap thing and go white !!
Joking, honest !! - black wheels looks good on a white scoob.
As for 17's or 18's - I dropped down to 17's from 18's and now have much better grip. The 18's with 35 profile skipped about a lot more if pushed hard than 17's with 40 profile - my experience, I'm sure others will differ !!

One thing, It has been said that she now looks like a T5, but only by 1 person and he's now in a coma.

Thumbs up

Very nice, I'm on the look-out for anthracite wheels since the OZ superleggera's are still very hard to find. I'm wanting wheels for my classic silver wrx

Where did you find these ?

How much are they ?

Have a look at www.rimstock.co.uk

According to the website, the max. offset they do is 45mm. If you go for wide or chunky tyres, you may catch the rear arches.

ISTR that standard offset for a scoob is 53mm Classic or 48mm newage.

I'm going to call them and find out exact offsets they do.
IIRC classics are ok with 48-53 offset.

I'm going to see what tyres come as their "budget" ones, and get prices for wheels alone, and for wheels/tyres(toyos and goodyear F1) combo.

Also just in case prices merit a group buy (and there is any interest), i'll ask if they would do a deal for 4 or 5 sets of wheels or wheel/tyre combo.

Cool

My STi V3 has P1 grey wheels, looks so much more modern than the gold 16's. Take a look at www.scoobyphotos.com and you will be amazed....
Check the weight of the Rimstock wheels though, some are heavy and their race spec quite light. Performance or looks?

I agree with 911, Source some p1 anthracite alloys of here.
Correct offset and a quality wheel that looks just as good IMHO.

Cool

Paid £500 for mine with slicks on. Cr@p tyres and the rims were not perfect, but there has been several sets on For Sale recently, and they are not selling too quickly, I smell a bargain.
Only issue with the P1's are they are a pig to clean!

But they do fit, look good, clear BIG brakes and make the white Scooby look a bit 'dark and moody' rather than the 90's look of the gold wheels (sorry to everyone...)
Graham.

THey look Damn Good...

My mate has 100+ Wheels on his car, and if u hit a pothole or even a manhole cover at speed, the wheels have a tendancy to buckle slightly!! MY local Motorpsport Retailers, do not sell Team Dynamics wheels anymore because theyve had problems with them damaging easily at low speeds!
