They look like this and are the mutts nuts Dead easy to fit too.

This is the Subaru guide for fitting rear discs. You need to adjust the handbrake shoes to stop you breaking anything if they bind to the inside of your old discs.

Further to my last discs can be front or back discs. The fronts are an amazing price of £130 a pair for 277mm discs or 294mm , Ian will do them for £130 a pair , so we can have a mix of whatever , as long as you we get 10 orders of course at that price you can get two pairs which equals two orders

Other bit of news for those of you with the front Prodrive set up. Godspeed can provide you a disc Yes replacement , in the group buy at £550 all in inc delivery, that is fantastic value
compared to the Prodrive sourced item not on alloy bells. Even
better is that the replacement discs on the bell are only £130 each as you re use the bell.

Prices quoted for Prodrive/alcon disc replacement include DS2500 pads.

Now have 5 interested in grooved and vented rears, 50% of the way there, see above for front disc group buy deals

Hi guys, Im in need of rear discs for my MY99 Turbo. Would I be right in saying these are appropriate for this car and that the price would be £100 + £10 delivery? If this is the case put me down for a pair of rear vented discs please.

Could the organiser email me to confirm details etc..

Much appreciated

Mike.

Mike,

The discs and Kevlar pads in my pic are for a MY99. I'm sure the lads will mark down car MY's beside each person's name to make sure of any differences.

Right, i deffo want some grooved fronts for an MY99.
Count me in!
Whats the story with the Mintex 1144? Would they suit a non trackday user such as myself? I'm not a massive user of brakes, so do these pads grip from cold?
I was thinking about the all new EBC pads cos they have very little brake dust and i hate cleaning wheels. Are the mintex dusty?
I thank you

I may be intrested in the rears, I have a Sti Type R and the rear calipers are Two pots. I presume the disks mentioned will fit?
What are the price from Subaru anyway?, just for comparison.

Stormy vented grooved rears plus mintex 1144 pads (3)
Ross 330mm Grooved fronts, vented grooved rears plus Mintex 1144 all round (5)
TMO 294mm Grooved and cross drilled fronts, grooved vented rears, no pads ? (7)

Now to answer your questions

Cost for front discs either 277mm or 294mm £130 plus £10 delivery (no idea on what the subaru prices are but double the amount wouldnt be far off),
Prodrive 330mm replacements including DS2500 pads £550 (versus £857 from Subaru).
Rears £100 plus £10 delivery

1. Discs are fine for normal driving
2. You can take the discs grooved or grooved and cross drilled. Grooved only is recommended for track use.
3. Mintex 1144 are excellant for day to day use for fast road and track. Can be a bit noisey when cold, fine for cold starts little warming is needed. Dust wise cant comment depends on how hard you brake.
4. DS2500 are harder than mintex and really are for fast road and track use but can be used day to day.
5. If your not sure have a look at either Ferrodo or Mintex web sites.
6. Kevlar pads are also available.

Mikey, brun, and Simb if you guys are interested then we have a group buy with 12 orders if so I will confirm all orders and get back to you with prices.
