Which discs for track days

when you say "fade" exactly what were your symptoms?? unusual for discs alone to be an issue, there will more likely be an other issue to rectify also.........

I use Godspeed standard size bells and disc's (drilled and grooved) and standard Mintex £38 pads with standard Scooby 4 pots.
On Alyn's advice I flushed the system through with fresh dot 5 after having the brake pedal hit the floor board's.
The pads have lasted nine laps of Castle Combe with wifey behind the wheel, 1500 hard road miles and a long hard day at Keevil airfield,all with no fade and a solid pedal.

I had Mintex 1155 pads on Subaru 4pots with standard discs and got bad fade on track. Swapped just the pads to Pagid RS15s and got no fade, although I did manage to put a 1mm crack from the centre to the rim of one of the discs!
Swapped to a set of groupN discs (same setup as AS Performances hire rally car apparently) but never tried them on track so can't say how good they were!
Edited to say that the Mintex pads and standard discs came off another car so may not have been bedded in properly by the previous owner!
