Question

Have done 10,000 miles in my MY03 WRX, alot of which has been on the motorway. However, I've noticed that the front tyres are wearing and although very soft and therefore grippy I was wondering if there were any good alternatives when I come to replace them? Budget isn't a problem.

From reading other posts around here, Toyo Proxes T1-S (s) seems to be a fairly popular choice.

Yeah - Toyo's are the best I've come across for wear, although the Goodyear's are pretty good as well. Should be at least 18K's worth of hard driving as I had on my Evo before replacement.

Don't get Yoko's - they can go after just 10K as they're such a soft compound, even though they are very grippy in the dry, but only in the dry!
