I've heard fitting a wider tyre can improve the understeer problem cos the tyre deforms less under hard cornering...however, I've yet to find any 215 tyres to fit 16 inch rims...anyone know if they exist or tried them ?

cheers Ron, there are some out there but only budget tyres. Seems like major mfgs like Goodyear/Toyo etc. must think they're too uncommon a choice !

Ah well, I guess I'll have to dial out understeer via other means ! i.e. bumpsteer removal !

Cheers
Alex
