Question

All

Easy question ... standard UK MY99 Turbo front discs, pads and calipers. Discs and pads in serious need of changing.

What's your recommendation and supplier? Don't want to spend a fortune and don't want to change the calipers.

Get yourself some Pagid discs and pads. TSL, Scoobysport, etc. all sell them.

Thanks guys.

Keith ... think you're right. Should be able to make 19th or 26th, but can't stay long as I'm off out in the evening on both dates.

Chaps...

So far I've found ...

Graham Goode - Tar-OX 44 groove discs/mintex pads for about £300. (Had these before on a previous car and they warpped though)

ScoobySport Pagid 8 groove discs/Pagid RS4-2-1 pads for about £400.

ScoobyWorld Bradi vented discs/Pagid RS4-2-1 pads for about £350.

I'm guessing that the Midland Impreza deal of Pagid 8 Grooved disks and RS4-2 pads for £259.00 is a steel then

Thanks for that, that is a steal!

Having the Group N+ Pagid kit fitted at ScoobySport next week. Got a good price for the whole lot that I could not refuse.

Just got DBA disc's and Ferodo DS2500 pads for £308 delivered.

The hubs on the pagids rust within weeks of fitting them but the DBA units come with nice gold bells.

wanting some extra stopping power on MY93 WRX - is it advisable to go for 4 or 6 pots + grooved/drilled discs and decent pads or use the original 2 pot and just get better discs/pads?

Oh & Scooby 96 - I just upgraded to standard 4 pots & disks to start with for £200.00 & the improvement in stopping power was doubled. You can always upgrade the disks & pads at a later date if you need extra stopping power but going for Brembo's etc... is for the track enthusiast or for those with a bit of extra cash. I would advise getting braided hoses & uprated fluid when you do them though
