Front disks and pads (02) suggestions?

In around 2,000 miles I'm going to need new disks and pads on my 02. The dealer said that Subaru brake parts have come down in price but I was hoping that I could save a few quid (the 30k service due at same time) by going non main agent but do want good 'uns! Any suggestions?
