Geoff, rolled arches are used to fit massive wheel and tyre combo's. It's like having a roller skate wheel on a rod, attached to your wheel hub and using it to press out the well arch (make it wider).

Do most body shops do this or is it a specialised job?

I have rubbing issues with 17" Team Dynamics and PPP lowered suspension.

mine are team dynamics 17" wheels 38mm offset x 7.5 Monza's - are these what you have Wiltshire boy? They are a perfect fit for my 22B but I want to put them on a classic.

Hi Geoff,

Mine are 17"x7" with a 45mm offset on my MY94 wagon.

I reckon you will struggle to get those Monzas to fit a classic, IIRC the recommended offset is 48-55mm. You could always get some alloy shaved from the inside but i am not sure how this affects the bolt holes.

Sorry i can't be more use, it would be worth posting a new topic to pick the brains of a few experts.

Roy.

would be interested if 38 mm offset with 225 tyres will fit classic.
Naturally they fit a 22b as the 22B is 38mm 17 x 8.
perhaps I just ought to try them and see.

the 22B standard offset is either 45 or 48 can never remember which. It says it on the ack of the standard alloys.

it is definitely not 38mm.

Cheers adam - perhaps the offset of the TD wheels is actually that as well as there is definately no issue with them on a 22B. I'll bung them on the classic and see how they go.
