Talking

Hate to point out the obvious Baldyman but you've asked :

what size rims will fit a MY99 SPORT
You'll find this info on the current tyre, in the log book

what rubber do people reccomend
this should help but a quick search and you'd find that the opinions fall down to to the same choices

should i change the brakes while im at it -
err? Do your brakes need changing ?

If yes, then yes If no, then no

which ones
Front ? Back? Er ... What kind do you currently have on your car? How much do you want to spend? Upgrade or stay with OEM? Pads or discs or calipers or all ?

Hopefully you'll see why there was so little response to your thread..... I think it's probably something to do with the questions

Wink

as it says "basic SPORT brake setup"

the brake system on the "SPORT" would be the "basic SPORT setup"

so when asking for advice on changing them - obviously it means should i go for 4 pots or somthing else

Thought the whole point on an advice page - was for people to give you advice - not act like a moronic children - have enough of them to put up with at school.

Aaahh..But baldyman....these may seem obvious points to yourself but not necessarily to us the unsuspecting advice givers

Surely you teach your children how to ask proper questions

not act like a moronic children
...and I sure as hell hope you ain't an English teacher

Thumbs up

sarcasm on an advice page is'nt needed or wanted
fair point.....so can you explain your earlier post?

Hmmmmmmm very helpfull - cheers ppl

Pot calling Kettle black I think... Baldyman

Anyway I'll bail out at this point mate as not into personal slagging on a BBS...

I was just trying to make a point that your question could have been a bit clearer....to help you get a better response and you'll notice that sarcasm is used pretty widely through Scoobynet hence the use of smilies

I'm sure you'd find the 4 pots an improvement over the 2 but personally I find the standard 4 pots on the Turbo (my99) relatively poor so hopefully someone on here can give you a bit better advice re any proposed upgrade you may be planning...

PS I'm a sarcastic sod by nature so no apolgies for earlier sarcasm

Cheers
Si
