Question

Simple yes/no question:

My Legacy GT-B (BG5B) has 294mm front brakes (with two pot sliding calipers) - can I use Impreza 294mm brake discs, with my standard calipers?

I'm only being offered OEM standard brake discs, and would prefer something a little uprated, but nobody seems to list any specifically for the GT-B.

Rich.

Not sure of the offset - if it ever stops raining, I'll take one off and measure it.

Hoping some Legacy ppl will read this soon....

Rich,

I changed my discs & pads soon after I bought my GTB.
I got them from AS performance.(But maybe able to get them elsewhere.)
They are OEM discs but the pads are of a harder compound - I've not yet had them fade...........
Blue print discs - code no. - SR-15......ADS74318C
Pads I used - Ferodo - FCP1327H
& just for info.....
Oil Filter (Blue Print) ADS72103

Any more questions.........just ask.

Dermel.

yep, as Pete and Alyn have sad - and 4 pots are bolt on of course (just FYI in case uneven pad wear gremlins strike)...some mesh hoses will get rid of the fluffy feel (if you feel the need to get rid of it ).

HTH

PS lotsa Legacy TT info available on the Legacy B4 group on yahoo...

That's cool - Scoobyworld have offered standard (well Bradi) discs for £127 a pair, and Mintex pads for £102 (four two pairs).

Will have a quick scoot around to compare prices with Impreza discs then sort something out.

Cheers all!

Rich.
