Around the 260ish mark per disc (i think the 30x mm ones cost the same as the 330mm ones)

How bad are the cracks

I have the 304mm AP kit and noticed surface cracks 18 months ago,I thought they would need changing by now but after reading the AP site which said that so long as the cracks are a good way from the edge they are still ok to use, I haven't bothered.

Wink

Alyn,
The discs im refering to are 28mm vented/grooved (308mm?) AP's, which cost me around the 260 mark each (but are worth it )
I know they do cheaper ones than this, are these the ones your refering to (the cheaper ones that is )

Hmmmm, I don't know why you've paid so much for discs Tony? The APR retail is around the £170 ish area each from memory (£168.00 each from us).

If the discs only have very fine surface cracks, it's unlikely they will need changing just because of that.

very fine surface cracks are quite common on disc faces, measure the disk thickness, they're more likely to wqear out than be changed due to cracking?

If you're unsure, take them somewhere and get them checked by a professional who is familiar with the product?

Mike.

v.sorry........maybe you should take a good look around this forum as there are some v.blatant forms of advertising.......all i was doing was pointing out that the disc prices quoted are CORRECT and that if people are paying more than this then maybe they are not getting a good deal!!
i often posrt here to try and help people out and don't go in for the "buy mine thet're brill" posts, so again apologies for trying to help........
alyn - as performance

alyn - see your email. It is somewhat impossible for me and the other moderators to review every single post, so if you think there is blatant advertising going on, then use the report to moderator thread above.

Thanks
