don't know if i'm being as thick as a whale omlette here, maybe you can enlighten me. running on 18 superleggaras and last week had a blow out, after the huge hassle of trying to get a new one fitted roadside and having no luck at all. i was about to put on the standard 16 space saver untill i was told it would wind up the diff over any reasonable distance and ***** up my car big time.

1: Is this correct
2: If so, where could i find a suitable 18 spacesaver that will actually fit in the boot compartment..

any come backs will be welcome...

here's hoping, smurf ,poole

It depends, if you've changed your 18"s out to a set with a different (noticeably so) rolling radius than the space saver, then you would have problems.

If the rolling radius of your 18"s is the same (or very similar) to the space saver, you would be OK.
