I put Pagid RS4-2 blue's on mine. Cost was lots less than 500 quid for front and rears. Forget the exact amount though. I did fit them myself though, took an hour or so, very simple.

Brakes are as before but with a bit more reassuring feel to the pedal, can't really explain it better than that. As I never faded the standard pads I can't say they are an improvement as the standard ones were OK.

Nellie, there are a few pads that you can buy for the STi7, however a friend of mine is running Ferodo DS2500's on his STi7 and is very happy with them. I will be replacing my pads on my STi7 with Ferodo's because I've used them before on my old RB5.

I mean over £500 for a set of pads get real IM will yer, that price is a disgrace and don't tell me that Subaru had spent a fortune on testing etc etc!!
This is one of many reasons why my current Subaru will my last one after buying 3 brand new ones!

Chelspeed - Where can I get the RS4-2 pads from, they sound a good alternative than being ripped off from Subaru. How much were they ?

Thanks

Ring John Freeth at Performance Braking in Monmouth for Pagid's, he's on 01600 713117. The pads are U2487 for the fronts and U1587 for the rears. Forget the price, sorry.

I think my STi7 Pads from www.j-w-racing.com fronts were £130 ish for Ferodo DS2500 and rears £110. IIRC

Put Pagid RS-15's on mine £190 for the fronts. Much better stopping power now as well.
