I plan on painting my calipers soon as they have got that nasty greeny worn look (thanks Subaru). It's a dbm car currently with gold speedlines but I plan to get them done in anthracite when I get some cash.
What colour do you think I should use?

Black n' white is the only colour that seems to look right IMO.
I did mine in black with silver writing but once the weather changes, they're going back to standard.

Nice job done there. The thing is if I go red I'll have to change to clear indicators, which I like but I think are far too expensive for that they are.

Red. Looks the nads as you can see above. I did mine black first and then when I changed the calipers I painted the new ones red. Very smart indeed.

I think the red usually looks too bright on the DBM. I saw a car at the subaru spectacular at Knockhill that was DBM but has 'blood red' calipers. Looked brilliant. The red was not disimilar from the red on this little guy

What colour wheels do you have BB and are you pleased with the godl finish? I guess I need to decide whether to get the wheels painted or not first.

The wheels are gold and the car is black. The finish isn't too bad, I did it myself with smoothrite, and it's holding up ok so far. The smoothrite gold is a fairly pale gold but I think it looks quite good. I can try and take some photo's if you want.

I have bought the paint am just waiting for 24 hours when I don't need the car.
Silver with white writing is my choice. Understated, tasteful . . . might look crap?!?!

probably just go with gloss black with white lettering, but would be interested in anyone else views.

I have always used Hammerite. You can get smooth or hammer finish. Cheaper than caliper paint, can paint over rust ( though you should wire brush first) and stands up to the temperatures.
