Hi Brian

You could try Turiff Tyres (01888 562929) I just bought a set of the new F1s from them at the weekend and they always try to give you a good price. They still have some of the old ones left in stock aswell.

You could try National Tyres

Just used my local one and got a full set 215/40/17 all fitted tracked, balenced etc for £330. Local prices started off at £198 per tyre but a bit of price beating between local garages always works!!!!

Could try Pitlane garage Ellon. I have 4 X 215-45-17 on order at £98 each fitted. Not a bad price for this neck of the woods.

Demand is high for these tyres so be prepared to wait a couple weeks for delivery.

Question

depends if you mean GS-D2 or GS-D3's ?!!?

as 2's are easy to get & cheaper
but 3's are newer (better!) and rare are rocking horse **** !!

Bit far from you,but I got my F1 GSD3's from Jim Jeffrey HPT in Warrington,Cheshire. They cost just short of a £130 each fitted, including metal valves, balancing etc.....
Btw,I use the same size tyre as you!! (225x40x18)
Their telephone number is 01925 247560 (Not sure if they do mail order though!! )

Good luck

Nick

Micheldever tyres nr Andover should be no 1 choice for getting a price for any tyre in any size. They consistently undercut everyone whenever I ring round. Plus they'll mail order. Ring them on 01962 774437.

I recently got a set of four 225/45-17 Goodyear F1 GSD3's for £385 fitted inc vat.
