Question

What car do you have? ie what MY and what brakes are fitted (2 or 4 pot, if its got subaru on it then they are 4 pots).
There are some conversions you can do, the 4 pot ones are better but fill out the following above and then we can see what options are available to you

Wink

Ok so you have the 294mm discs on there just now, i would suggest you try something like a 335mm godspeed kit (around 600 quid) that will fit nicely under your 17's and give you somewhat more braking ability (and fill the gap )

Just spoke to Ian at Godspeed and had a very faverably conversation with him about a 325mm upgrade. Try http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ for contact details.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has these fitted or has experience with one of Godspeeds kits as I will be buying one very soon

I've also noticed Scoobysport are very good on Pagid prices if your going down the disc/pad route.

Thumbs up

I have just had the Pagid kit fitted and can't fault it. Braking is so much better even from cold.

I had the Scoobysport Group-N+ brakes fitted about 300 miles ago. They're starting to come on strong now. This is how Scooby brakes should have been originally. A massive improvement.

I have used the TSL Grp N kit and it is also a big step up from the std, and not too expensive, But at that time there weren't as many of the cheaper caliper sets like those now available from TSL and scoobysport. Big brake kits can mean bigger bills for pads and new discs so find out costs of replacements when looking into new calipers etc.
