When to check tyre pressure?

Thanks! I've always done it when they're cold before, but remeber hearing someone say you should do it when they're warm... or maybe that was checking the oil...

Question

Cold or warm? I've heard that it's best to do it when the tyre (and air inside) is warm...

All recommendations I've ever seen are cold.

always check your pressures when the tyres are cold, when they are warm the air expands giving false readings (over reading)

not that either.........
with some motorsport tyres they will give you an ideal "operating" pressure
alyn - as performance
