Advice on discs and pads

Hi guys, need to change pads and discs on the RB5 soon and want to get rid of the standard Subaru ones. Just wondering what any of you folk would recommend as i dont really know where to start!

What is your budget?
Do you want bigger brakes?
If money is no object then you can't go far wrong with AP 6pots, the kit should go under your 17" wheels OK. Also on offer are the KAD kit from Scoobysport, or the HiSpec kit from TSL.
If its just a standard disk upgrade, then a 2 piece disk with alloy bells are better than the standard cast items, Pad wise it seems that Pagid or Ferrodo (sp?) are highly spoken of on here.
Have a look at the Godspeed Groupbuy thread, theres a discount on disks and pads at the mo, and the big brake conversion using your exsisting calipers.
