Tyre dilemma
#1
I think I've got a slow puncture on my 97 Sport. It's currently fitted with nasty budget tyres so I've been looking around for better alternatives.
The only place near me that can check/change the tyre is Kwikfit and they have the following choice in 195/60/15 (prices are each/fitted)
Budget £32
ArrowSpeed £40
Alba £43
CEAT £54
Michelin £82
Firestone £64
Centaur £65
Dunlop £72
I'm hoping they can repair the puncture to give me chance to shop around abit more, but if I do need new tyre(s), what's my best bet?
Thanks in advance
Neil

Hi those prices dont seem to hot - see below;
FIRESTONE F705 53.00
PIRELLI P6000 68.50
I would recommend the Pirelli.
All prices fully fitted at a centre local to you (Kwik-Fit's are subject to VAT and fitting!)
For more info or price checking call Aryan on 0845 200 0022.
Hope this helps.....

I found my Firestones to be slippy in the wet.
Pirelli's are ok for the price usually. Get the best you can afford as its your contact with the road - know what I mean
Alas
