New multispoke Speedline flow-formed wheels
#1
At Knockhill yesterday, Wheels Around (who support all our track events up north ), had a couple of set of a new multi-spoke alloy wheel in gold. They were made by Speedline-Corse, looked very nice, and came in a 7x17 size.
Does anyone know anything more about these (think the offset was 48mm). The guys there didn't know much about them, just that the owner (Ronnie) who was unable to attend, had ordered them up, and thought they might be of interest to some of the Subaru owners.
They were on special offer at only £115+VAT per wheel, which to me seemed like a bit of a bargain, given the quality of the wheel.
If only they would clear the calipers on the STi Type UK, then I would have been seriously tempted!
I'm not sure if other suppliers can get them at this special price (might be an introductory offer), but it might be worth trying.

I think you are talking about the Speedline Turini. It is similar in looks to the OZ 10 spoke ( But actually has 11 spokes, i think). As far as I know, it will fit the STi 7. Scoobysport will know, as they are expecting some.

You can get the new Speedline Turini(flow-forming alloy met to be stronger & lighter) from Demontweeks. They do them in gold so i guess they fit all subaru's & they start from £123inc vat for 15".So £115+vat for 17" sounds a good price.

I've had a word with Ronnie from Wheels Around, and they are indeed a new "Turini" wheel, which uses flow-forming technology to make them very light (for the size), but also very strong.
He's not sure how many more sets he could get at that special price, but if anyone is interested, they can call him on 01764 662897. The price would be £115+VAT, with postage costs on top of that.

I can kind of imagine what they look like, and I'm too lazy to go look on the sites, I know, but are there any pics of them anywhere? The '00 6-spokes in gold are ok (definitely better than in standard colour), but I'm still not _that_ keen on them and the normal Speedline 10-spoke do look pretty nice.
