Can't get my AP 4 pots to fit, help!
#2
Just tried to fit some AP 4 pot brakes with 310mm discs. The whole kit went on no problem but my wheels now do not fit. With the spokes up against the caliper there is still abot 15-20mm to go beore they are aginst the disc. The wheels are 17" Super T copys, the calipers are the 6600.
Trouble is if I was to have a different offset of wheel they would be miles out from the car.
Any ideas??

I have the same wheels as you , my AP 4 pots fitted no problem , I have the 5200 caliper. Have a look on the AP web site and see what the difference is between the two calipers . Where did you get the brakes from ? Have you phoned the supplier and asked for help? they may well be able to help you

The calpiers were 2nd hand. The bloke's been really good about it and said if they don't fit I don't have to buy them.
Big Bear, are your the same make or just the same style?

MY 96 STi version 2 , this shouldn't make a difference to the fitting of a brake kit . I have about 5mm clearence between the wheel and the caliper , more than with the 16" wheels I had before (MY 98 5 spokes).
