Question

Question ...

I read regularly about various tyres used on Subarus (and other makes), but in the main it seems to be Toyo, Bridgestone, Goodyear and Pirelli

Does any use Yokohama tyres on performance cars ? I used to swear by Yokohamas on my old Golf, stuck like glue, lasted long enough and cost roughly £50 a corner

Anyone here run Yokohamas ?

AV Sports on my old GSi Vectra, made an old boat handle quite well, excellent in the wet.
Underestimated imo

i got an import with jap yoko's on it, they were called grand prix's but had the a520 tread pattern - though all my wheel bearings were fkd cos the car sang down the road! then found out that the jap rubber is much harder hence the strange road noise!!
felt kinda silly after that

I agree with Brun. My 97 STi is wearing Yoko A520s. Trying my hardest to wear them out. As well as being sh1te in the wet they also make a racket - especially on smooth tarmac. I thought a wheel bearing was on the way out!! TylerD529, don't feel silly mate I know what you mean! What rubber you running on now?

I'm going for Toyos or maybe the new Goodyear.
The rears are about sha99ed now but the fronts have plenty of life left - will flog 'em off to someone I suppose.

Scoob_dood, your name is similar to mine. Thought someone was tekkin the pi55 when I saw this thread!
